چکیده
The most common localizations for upper extremity atherosclerosis are the subclavian artery and brachiocephalic trunk. Significant stenosis of occurs in 2% population 7-11% patients with manifest cardiovascular disease. Revascularization is indicated symptomatic or asymptomatic coronary disease planned surgical revascularization. In addition to atherosclerosis, other causes appearance include dissection, radiation-induced inflammation fibromusculature, various vasculities, especially Takayasu arteritis. left about four times more commonly affected than right. It usually over age 50 years 1.5-2 men women. Disease focal lesion predominantly first 2 cm proximal origin aorta. Between 2016-2021 clinic cardiology angiology we treated endovascularly 81 (41 40 females, median 64 ± 11) either intraluminal balloon dilatation and/or primary stent implantation followed by post dilatation. We achieved a high technical success rate (93.8%) immediate clinical success, only few minor complications.

Endovascular Treatment of Subclavian Artery Lesions
Objective: The initial and long-term results of angioplasty and primary stenting of subclavian artery lesions were studied. Material and Methods: From January 2007 to May 2013, 14 patients (6 women and 8 men), aged 64–84 year old, with subclavian artery lesions were admitted and treated. All patients were symptomatic. After imaging control of the supraaortic trunk and the upper-extremity arteri...
متن کاملEndovascular treatment of a nontraumatic left subclavian artery pseudoaneurysm.
Mycotic subclavian artery pseudoaneurysms are rare. There are controversies over the surgical or endovascular approach as the treatment of choice for these lesions. The standard surgical debridement might not be a choice for poorly surgically reachable lesions or for patients with multiple comorbidities. Endovascular aneurysm repair may be an effective alternative in selected cases. This treatm...
متن کاملRates of symptom reoccurrence after endovascular therapy in subclavian artery stenosis and prevalence of subclavian artery stenosis prior to coronary artery bypass grafting
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) and stenting is commonly used to treat subclavian artery stenosis (SAS). In this study, the outcomes of 43 consecutive cases, performed at one institution from October 1997 to October 2005, were analyzed. Mean stenosis was 84.41% pre-intervention and 6.83% post-intervention. Five of the procedures were angioplasty alone; 38 were angioplasty with stent...

The treatment for subclavian artery stenosis includes the more common endovascular therapy rather than surgical intervention in symptomatic patients. We present a case of a 79-year-old man with coronary artery bypass graft where subclavian artery stenosis was found incidentally. In this asymptomatic case, we have merged clinical and multiple imaging modalities to secure the diagnosis and treatm...

BACKGROUND To retrospectively analyze the outcomes of interventional radiology treatment of patients with hepatic artery stenosis (HAS) after liver transplantation at our Institution. MATERIAL/METHODS Hepatic artery stenosis was diagnosed and treated by endovascular technique in 8 (2.8%) patients, who underwent liver transplantation between July 2007 and July 2011. Patients entered the follow...
